I'm enjoying my summer so far.Which is so great.I went to Kobe/Osaka the other day and I found the coolest book store in Osaka! I bought Mat O'Brien's book there.Plus I also bought a fashion magazine called "Baby Baby Baby" from Mexico in Shinsaibashi.It seems really interesting.
Now I'm thinking of making a zine of my favorite bookstores in Nagoya.I didn't think there would be so many book stores I like in Nagoya but I was wrong.So, I really wanna make it.I'm gonna interview the shop owners and put the interviews on the zine.I'm not really sure if I have enough time to make it though cuz it's already in the middle of August! Argh.
今のところ夏休みを満喫しています。とっても最高です。この間は大阪に行ってきたんだけど、またまたクールな本屋さんを見つけちゃった。そこでMat O'brienというイラストレーターのzineみたいな本を見つけて買ったよ。Harmony Korineの"Mister Lonely"も置いてあったから、「あ！」と思ったけど直感でMat O'brienのにしたのよね。でもそこの本屋さんthe Journalとかも置いてあったり、Peter SutherlandやWilliam Egglestonの写真集も置いてあって、そこにいるだけで物欲が湧きあがってきちゃったよ(笑)ともかくまた素敵な旅が出来てよかったよかった。
ちなみに今、名古屋にある私のお気に入りの本屋さんのzineを作ろうかと思ってるんだよね。名古屋に私の趣味に合ってる本屋さんなんて無いだろうなぁと思ってたけど、間違ってた。だからこれは作らなきゃ！と思いまして。考えてるのは何件か本屋さんに行って、そこのオーナーにインタビューして、それをzineに載せようかなぁって思ってるの。でも既に８月の中旬だから作る時間があるかわかんないけどね。シマッタ…
